First there was the preparation to sell: she made a number of decorating recommendations which were easy to implement but made a significant improvement in how the house “showed”. Cathy was a great real estate agent for a first time home buyer! She was always available and responded quickly to all of my questions. In a market where good agents are hard to find Cathy is the exception! She helped me rent all 3 units in a my rental property including background checks- 3 of the best tenants I’ve had. My family was relocating to the east coast from the Midwest and looking for a rental. I was flying in town for two days in order to scout homes, so timing and logistics were critical. I corresponded with Cathy prior to my arrival via phone, email and txt in order to schedule a house viewing. Cathy was very responsive and easy to work with. Her listing was one of 9 that I visited and ultimately settled on. Cathy was not only very helpful in showing me the house but was very knowledgeable about the local area, school system, and things to do, etc. Finalizing the lease and closing out all paperwork and requirements was a breeze and Cathy kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Cathy helped me with a very difficult short sale, she pushed until all the parts of the puzzle came together. The bank who held the property wasn’t helpful in working out the problems with the title search, they had to be pushed every part of the process.
